About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate School Supervisor to join our team at NELFT. As a senior clinician, you will be responsible for overseeing the formulation, treatment, and management plans for schools, parents, children, and young people being supported by our Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload and complete outcomes measures routinely
  • Update clinical records in line with team, service, and Trust requirements
  • Travel efficiently throughout the area to supervise EMHPs and support service transformation
  • Develop and co-produce materials for delivery/presentation in schools
  • Support the development and embedding of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in schools
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a graduate training (e.g., nursing, social work, occupational therapy) and eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body
  • At least 2 years of experience working with evidence-based approaches to low mood, anxiety, and behavior problems with children and young people
  • Knowledge of the relevant clinical research literature and ability to apply it to the field of parent support/child mental health/staff wellbeing
