About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Snowdrop Ward, providing care to adults with mental health conditions. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the clinical management of designated service users, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

With a strong background in healthcare, you will hold a relevant qualification, such as a BSc in Psychology or NVQ/Foundation Degree, and demonstrate knowledge and skills gained as a senior support worker or occupational therapy assistant. Your warm personality and resilience will enable you to provide emotional support and stability to patients, while maintaining professional boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the clinical management of designated service users, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
  • Support the admission and discharge process of patients, completing aspects of the process as assessed competent to undertake.
  • Identify opportunities for therapeutic activities and provide and supervise these as appropriate, ensuring effective engagement and maintaining professional boundaries.
