About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with mental health needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered and person-centered approaches
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development of care plans and sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
Requirements
  • Qualified Mental Health Nurse with a relevant nursing qualification
  • Previous experience working in a mental health care setting, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and carers
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, with a strong focus on patient-centered and person-centered approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
