Key Responsibilities- Design and develop detailed technical documentation for deployed hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production-grade medical devices and test rigs
- Provide technical expertise to junior staff and contribute to the development of design standards
- Work independently to design and develop complex circuits and PCBs
- Utilize industry-standard design tools, including Altium
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronics and software components
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of design standards
- Extensive experience in electronics design and development
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end electronics hardware and integration development
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques for volume production, including assembly and cost structure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong self-organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience with fluid/air handling, motion control systems, optical sensors and switches, thermal control systems
- Knowledge of medical device development to ISO 13485, high reliability, safety critical, and automotive environments
- Experience with EMC and safety testing
- Familiarity with FMEA and equivalent processes
- Work primarily in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and development
