Job Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our Newcastle Retail Store team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining the highest standards of store operations, customer service, and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager in maintaining store operations, ensuring continuity and excellence in all aspects.
- Be prepared to take over full managerial tasks as necessary, demonstrating a strong understanding of store operations and procedures.
- Ensure the team is equipped with knowledge relevant to the industry and END.'s product offerings.
- Lead the team in delivering exceptional customer service, setting a positive example through outstanding service techniques.
- Drive store sales by motivating the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating them to the store manager.
- Maintain the store image in line with business standards, conducting regular floor walks to ensure product and merchandising standards are met.
- Support the store manager in managing wage-to-sales budget, shrinkage, and revenue.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a diverse and broad skill base in business management.
- Ambition within the retail function, with a desire to develop into a successful store manager.
- Be prepared to put in the necessary effort to contribute to the business's success.
- A genuine passion for the industry and a love for your work.
- Charisma and energy to entice people, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
