Job Description

Electrical Installation Trainer

Location: Coventry (On-site 5 days a week)

Salary: Up to £42,000

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Trainer to deliver high-quality training and education to engineering apprentices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation and a passion for teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technical training programs in electrical installation, both face-to-face and online, to small groups of learners.
  • Develop and implement training courses, programs, and curriculum that meet the needs of our learners.
  • Manage and maintain physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment.
  • Monitor and support the progress of learners, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to learners and stakeholders through presentations and updates.
  • Continuously improve our technical training offerings by developing new and interactive teaching methods that incorporate the latest industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in electrical installation with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with learners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tight deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of learners.
  • Industry-related qualifications, such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
  • Recognized training/teaching qualifications.
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
