Senior Psychologist - Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our team at HCA UK, specializing in cancer care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide expert psychological support and care.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of cancer and its impact on patients and their loved ones. You will be responsible for assessing patients' psychological needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' psychological needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide expert psychological support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with cancer patients and their families
  • Strong research and analytical skills
