We are seeking a dedicated Band 5 Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Cygnet Hospital Bierley, specifically on our male low secure unit.

Cygnet Bierley is a specialized mental health facility situated in Bradford, West Yorkshire, comprising four distinct wards that cater to various service lines.

The wards include:
- Shelley Ward: a 16-bed male low secure unit
- Bronte Ward: a 15-bed female low secure unit
- Lister Ward: a 16-bed male acute unit
- Blossom Ward: a 15-bed female acute unit

In this role, you will be engaged in activities on Shelley Ward, contributing to the enhancement and operation of the Occupational Therapy department within the hospital. Your responsibilities will include assessing and addressing the occupational needs of service users, under the guidance of a senior Occupational Therapist. The aim is to empower individuals to engage in activities that are meaningful to them, thereby supporting their overall well-being.

The Occupational Therapy department at Cygnet Hospital Bierley is comprised of four qualified Occupational Therapists and two Occupational Therapy Assistants. Our facilities feature a gym, social hub, activities of daily living (ADL) kitchen, sensory room, and various therapeutic environments.

Reporting to: Service Manager & Lead Occupational Therapist

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
