We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Faculty Member in Occupational Therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework, conducting research, and contributing to the department's service activities.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in occupational therapy programs, with a teaching load expectation of 4 courses per academic year.
- Scholarship: Establish and maintain a defined program of research, with a focus on publishing refereed articles and securing external funding.
- Service: Participate in departmental, university, and community service activities, as well as contribute to the occupational therapy profession through professional development and leadership.
- Education: Doctoral degree in occupational therapy, occupational science, or a related field. PhD candidates who anticipate completion of the degree by the position start date are eligible to apply.
- Experience: Strong background in occupational science or therapy, with a defined program of scholarship supported by at least one refereed publication and others in process.
- Certifications/Licenses: Eligibility for NBCOT certification and NH state OT license.
- Teaching Experience: Past teaching experience and demonstration of teaching competence.
- Research Experience: A strong foundation in occupational science, with a defined research program that complements existing expertise in the department.
- Teaching Philosophy: A strong occupation-focused philosophy and a demonstrated ability to integrate research activities with teaching and service.
