This position is part of our Marketing & Technology division. We integrate data, technology, creative content, and paid media to solve business challenges and enhance revenue through diverse digital marketing solutions such as advertising campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clientele includes notable brands.
JOB PURPOSE
At DEPT, we take pride in the award-winning, innovative campaigns and content we create for a variety of prominent brands. We believe that our Media Team plays a crucial role in the success of these initiatives. Our Media Team consists of both paid and organic media experts, and we are eager to welcome a new member to our team.
Utilizing data and insights, the Media Planner will formulate robust paid media strategies and plans across various biddable channels, including TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, X, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and more. The Media Planner will collaborate closely with other departments, such as Creative, Tech, and Production, to ensure the continued creation of award-winning content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Media Planner role is dynamic, diverse, and continuously evolving. In this position, you will:
Plan, purchase, and optimize paid social media initiativesAddress client (internal and external) briefsReport on performance weekly, monthly, and quarterlyDevelop paid media strategies and establish key tactical plans to achieve themDeliver media plans to the highest standardEnhance existing paid social media outputsEnsure the quality of work meets the highest standardsPromote constant innovation across all outputsContribute to our creative process by sharing your insights and experiencesManage budgets for paid media initiativesPresent work both internally and externallyComplete tasks within set deadlinesSKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience in a paid media roleStrong understanding of digital paid media, especially paid social mediaAdvanced proficiency with advertising across various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, and YouTube. Familiarity with Google Ads and Pinterest is a plus.Experience with brand and performance campaignsIntermediate or higher proficiency in Excel/Sheets and familiarity with Word/Docs and PowerPoint/SlidesAn inquisitive and analytical mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detailEffective presentation skillsAbility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentHEALTH, WELLBEING & BENEFITS:
