Role Overview
As a Project Management Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project managers in the execution of various initiatives. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that range from continuous improvement efforts to innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in overseeing project execution and work streams.
- Engage in projects that focus on enhancing manufacturing processes or pioneering innovative strategies.
- Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to completion.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Manufacturing Planning and Logistics, while proactively identifying opportunities and risks.
- Under the guidance of a Project Lead, manage key activities such as tracking project finances, preparing project status reports, documenting meeting minutes, and ensuring deliverables align with timelines.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience in managing small to medium-scale projects or improvement initiatives.
- Basic knowledge of logistics, particularly within the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to present information effectively to small groups.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in manufacturing or logistics, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Familiarity with budget management and SAP reporting.
- Experience with project management tools such as P6.
Preferred Experience
- Involvement in strategy development, solution design, and project delivery.
- Regular collaboration with Production teams regarding Material Planning and Logistics.
- Ability to work alongside external service providers to deliver engineering solutions.
- Collaboration with Material Flow teams to enhance production efficiency.
