**Transport Operations Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Brakes. As a key member of our distribution operation, you will be responsible for ensuring our team of drivers are performing to the highest standards.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements, company policies, and ways of working.
  • Identify and implement new initiatives to improve the distribution operation.
  • Support the Distribution Manager in building a high-performing team of drivers and administration colleagues.
  • Manage costs to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Lead by example and set standards in service, health, safety, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of transport operational knowledge and experience.
  • Strong people leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of key legislative requirements.
  • CPC qualification or significant experience with a view to completing additional learning.
