Job Summary

The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator for the Children's Continuing Care Team. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of care for patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Children's Continuing Care Team.
  • Coordinate the patient journey, ensuring seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams.
  • Manage workload demands and prioritize tasks effectively to meet agreed priorities.
  • Facilitate good communication between staff members and other teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, A Level/BTEC or equivalent experience, and NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care.
  • Experience in dealing with customer complaints and customer care, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Computer literacy, with experience of using a variety of computer programs, including databases, spreadsheets, and patient administration systems.
  • Knowledge of NHS service provision, including the pathway of care, and healthcare administrative systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection principles, Health and Safety, and Equality and Diversity.

  • Committed to a 'patient/client first' philosophy, with the ability to work assertively with multi-disciplinary teams.
