About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Critical Care and Respiratory Rehabilitation team as a Band 7 specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care and respiratory rehabilitation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload of patients with complex needs, providing specialist occupational therapy interventions and developing treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Lead the occupational therapy service on the critical care unit, providing clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement discharge plans, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes.
