Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Threshold Support Services in Lanarkshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a positive impact in the lives of the people we support, helping them to achieve their aspirations and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with individuals, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with colleagues and individuals, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe environment, adhering to CrossReach's Christian ethos and values.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Undertake the necessary vetting checks.
  • Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Hold the relevant qualifications and experience in social care.
