Job Summary

The Doncaster Council is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Hamilton Court. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily living needs, including personal, nutritional, social, and emotional needs.
  • Facilitate stimulation and promote independence in line with individual support plans.
  • Review and update person-centered support plans and risk assessments.
  • Provide and promote person-centered care and support to individuals within our service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

Requirements

  • Ability to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team.
  • Skills in positive communication and engagement.
  • Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of enabling services, Learning Disabilities, Safeguarding Adults, Health and Safety, Data protection, and the core principles of CQC.
