This is a full-time and permanent position.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Planning Director to join their dynamic team and help shape the future of the practice while working on a diverse range of exciting projects.

The company is a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary practice, renowned for its comprehensive understanding of the intricate planning process.

Its in-house team of planners, architects, and landscape architects work in unison to deliver a fully integrated approach to development, guiding projects seamlessly from concept to completion.

The Practice has a strong track record of securing planning permissions for even the most challenging sites.

These span, but are not limited to, high-end residential developments, commercial and tourism schemes, luxury coastal properties, bespoke homes, and renewable energy developments.

Requirements to apply:

  • Be MRTPI qualified
  • Have 5+ years' post chartered experience in a town planning role
  • Ideally have previous team leadership experience
  • Have experience in client-facing work
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Be a critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be organized, flexible, proactive, and professional and commercially minded
  • Be enthusiastic about leading other professionals within the business
