We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personalized support to students with SEND to help them progress in their education goals
- Liaise and work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth-running classroom environment
- Develop and implement individual learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Meet regularly with teachers and SENCOs to discuss student progress and share best practices
- Liaise with parents and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support
- Graduate degree (essential)
- Desirable qualifications in Psychology or Criminology
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- English and Maths GCSEs at grade C or above
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) desirable
