Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd.

Job Summary:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a tailored learning experience for students.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to share knowledge and best practices, enhancing the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN and complex learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in SEN education.

Working Hours and Salary:

32.5 hours per week, term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks)

Working hours: 8.45am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday

Salary information: £85 - £100 per day
