Position Overview:

As a Team Director, you will play a crucial role in our Production and Warehouse areas. You will take charge of your shift, ensuring that your team is prepared for the day and providing the necessary support. Your experience in food manufacturing and people management will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan resources to meet daily targets and drive business growth
  • Supervise shift operations and delegate tasks based on skills and experience to optimize team performance
  • Monitor and meet daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), escalating issues when necessary to ensure seamless operations
  • Facilitate communication between departments to foster a collaborative work environment
  • Support the development of team members and promote training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Uphold food safety, health & safety, and quality standards to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Manage team recruitment, workload allocation, and timesheets to optimize productivity and efficiency

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Previous experience in people management and food production, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus
