Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 3 Integrated Healthcare Assistant to join our Rehabilitation and Frailty Team (RAFT). The RAFT Service is a forward-thinking and innovative community-based service that runs 365 days a year, 7am-10pm across various shift patterns.

Main Duties of the Job

You will be expected to carry out clinical visits to patients in their own homes and residential homes under the direction of Nurses and Therapists. You will also be expected to cover shifts over 7am-10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical visits to patients in their own homes and residential homes under the direction of Nurses and Therapists.
  • Cover shifts over 7am-10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Work as part of a fully integrated team, with Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Integrated Health Care Assistants, Associate Practitioners, and Nursing/Therapy Apprentices.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in any healthcare setting.
  • Good communication skills.

Working for NELFT
