Job Title: SEN Music Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Music Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a SEN Music Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering music education to our neurodiverse children and young people, fostering creativity, self-expression, and a love of music within the class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver music education in a way that is accessible for all, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of our pupils.
  • Plan, teach, and assess learning, particularly with small groups of pupils, to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes, to inform teaching and support strategies.
  • Work closely with pupils, keeping them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their goals.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to direct them in effectively supporting the pupils.
