Job Title: Driver Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Manager to join our team at Govia Thameslink Railway.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of drivers to deliver a high-performing workforce in line with our safety, performance, and customer service expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of drivers to achieve excellent performance and customer service standards.
  • Develop and implement customer service standards to raise the professionalism of drivers across GTR.
  • Enhance the on-board experience for customers, resulting in repeat business and higher satisfaction results.
  • Drive team performance through excellent engagement and utilize attendance procedures to improve performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with Trade Union Representatives.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
