Responsibilities- Lead and manage all operational staff, budget, and performance related to hard FM services.
- Effectively oversee and develop all site services, adhering to company standards, service contracts, and client expectations for staff, clients, and visitors.
- Collaborate closely with the client to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and future requirements are met, contributing to contract success.
- Ensure contractual performance aligns with agreed budgets, monitor performance metrics, and consistently implement cost-saving strategies.
- Develop strategic life cycle programs, end-of-contract planning, tactical life cycle management, asset transformation contract delivery, major project surveying, technical strategic advice & support, and operational management support.
- Manage the team effectively, including recruitment, development, performance appraisals, absence management, disciplinary procedures, etc.
- Exercise financial and commercial control over expenditure and income within allocated budgets.
- Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with our client to ensure their satisfaction.
- Guarantee operational delivery meets high quality standards and complies with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to add value, enhance productivity, and identify cost-saving measures.
- City & Guilds qualified at Level 3 in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline (or equivalent).
- Full and clean UK driving license.
- Experience in Hard FM, ideally utilizing a CAFM system to ensure efficient contract operation.
- Proven experience managing staff within facilities management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and contract deliverables.
- Experience managing multi-functional teams.
- Demonstrable commercial/financial experience.
