Join Think Recruitment in Burton upon Trent and take on a challenging role as a Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a 14m turnover group that specializes in dilapidation refurbishments and fit-out work.
The Role- Appoint and monitor labour and site management teams to ensure project success.
- Control and analyze labour costs to optimize project efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive project programs and site meeting minutes to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend client and contracts meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Collate and manage snagging works completed by the project support team.
- Record site variations and liaise with the QS team to ensure accurate project tracking.
- Ensure site health and safety compliance from pre-contract stage to project completion.
- Monitor site health and safety procedures and compliance by all site personnel.
- Manage client direct suppliers for projects.
- Promote commercial awareness for on-site projects.
- Liaise with the supply chain team to ensure effective site set up.
- Take a lead role in snagging and handover meetings with the design team.
- Ensure quality of workmanship meets company expectations.
- Deliver projects to agreed program of works.
- Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.
- Ensure relevant design and contract details are available to site personnel at all times.
- Regularly meet with the Head of Commercial and contracts team to report on workload, project difficulties, and opportunities.
