Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team at NFP, an Aon company (Europe), in a full-time capacity. The primary objective of this role is to provide technical, administrative, and client service support to our insurance service Sales Executives/Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client, insurer, and third-party inquiries through written or oral communication.
  • Assess client needs and provide recommendations on suitable insurance solutions.
  • Communicate client requirements to insurers.
  • Inform clients of insurers' requirements.
  • Collect and present information to obtain quotations.
  • Analyze and present information to insurers to secure risk acceptance for new and renewal business.
  • Obtain quotations from insurers, rating guides, and online facilities.
  • Analyze and compare insurance covers and quotations.
  • Collaborate with Claims Unit Manager, Account Executives/Directors on received communications.
  • Present quotations, reports, and documents to Account Executives/Directors.
  • Manage client renewals, including renewal documentation, quotations, and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Proactive, innovative, and able to take the initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of account handling experience.
  • Expert knowledge of insurance is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of FCA regulatory requirements.
