Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team at NFP, an Aon company (Europe). As a key member of our insurance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our Sales Executives/Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client, insurer, and third-party inquiries through written or oral communication.
- Review client demands and needs, and advise on the most suitable insurance solutions.
- Instruct insurers on client requirements.
- Inform clients of insurer requirements.
- Collect and present information to obtain quotations.
- Assess, analyze, and present information to insurers to achieve risk acceptance for new and renewal business.
- Seek quotations from insurers, rating guides, and online facilities.
- Analyze and compare covers and quotations.
- Liaise with Claims Unit Manager, Account Executives/Directors on received communications.
- Present quotations, reports, and documents to Account Executives/Directors.
- Manage client renewals, including renewal documentation, quotations, and accounting procedures, ensuring FCA deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time management.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to take the initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of account handling experience.
- Expert knowledge of insurance is desirable.
- Good knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, and other benefits.
