Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the sale of over-the-counter medication and pharmacy merchandise, ensuring accurate handling and processing of transactions.
- Support the sale of medicines protocol, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines and general health and lifestyle matters, under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist.
- Receive and hand out prescriptions, ensuring accurate handling and processing of prescriptions.
- Collect necessary prescription charges and ensure that patient declarations are correctly filled in and signed.
- Order stock in line with company procedures to meet customer demand, minimizing losses due to date expiry.
- Maintain attractive displays, tidying and restocking as necessary.
- Process invoices and paperwork in a timely manner, following company procedures.
- Participate in the delivery of additional services, such as stop smoking advice and blood pressure testing, following adequate training.
Previous pharmacy or retail experience is an advantage, although we are willing to train the right candidate. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
