Job Title: Multi-Trade Operative

Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Operations Planned team based in Chester. As part of the team, you will work independently and/or alongside other Operatives covering numerous sites across Chester and the North and North West region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
  • Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintain a suitable van stock level and restock these when needed
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Requirements:
  • Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing)
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Working experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • PC literate and able to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
  • Full valid UK driving licence
