Role Overview:
As a Housing Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting young individuals at risk of losing their homes. This position is within a reputable housing organization that focuses on supported living arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to young individuals facing housing challenges.
- Engage with various referral agencies, including local authorities and community organizations, to facilitate access to services.
- Manage a caseload of up to 8 young clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week, with a rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday, with Friday off and weekend shifts.
- Week 2: Monday off, working Tuesday to Friday, with the weekend off.
Compensation:
The role offers a competitive pay rate, with options for PAYE or alternative arrangements.
Requirements:
- A valid UK Driver's License and access to a vehicle are mandatory.
- Successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check covering both children and adult workforces.
