Banking Operations Manager

At the Bank of England, we protect everyday life in the UK. We ensure that financial services are safe, inflation is stable, and systems are secure. Our Banking directorate supervises around 600 firms, so they're crucial to this.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver our supervisory approach for Operational Resilience;
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Bank, PRA and regulated firms;
- Assess and apply judgement on operational risk and resilience matters;
- Manage staff-related matters, including performance, absence and sickness;
- Embed operational resilience in our prudential framework.
- Excellent strategic thinking and collaboration, leadership and people management skills;
- Understanding of operational risks and ability to articulate how firms manage them;
- Outcomes-focused and excellent workload management skills;
- Working knowledge of the PRA's Operational Resilience rules;
- Ability to identify and assess operational risks.
- A non-contributory, career average pension;
