System Configuration Consultant

Marston Holdings is a leading supplier of intelligent traffic enforcement and management solutions, and we're seeking a skilled System Configuration Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you'll play a critical role in the deployment, testing, and support of our Videalert and Vortex products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and knowledge transfer.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and data in our management system.
  • Provide guidance to workshop technicians to prevent and resolve issues during the build process.
  • Gather and understand client configuration requirements, providing guidance on optimal configuration and assisting with installations and relocation.
  • Test new releases from the development team, ensuring suitability for deployment.
  • Support and manage the system implementation process, from planning to rollout and handover to support.
  • Assist the helpdesk team, carrying out system checks and troubleshooting issues to ensure maximum system uptime.
Requirements:
  • IT-related qualifications or working towards.
  • Hands-on experience in system configuration, including deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux OS.
  • Knowledge and experience with hardware setup.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meticulously manage and document system configuration and testing.
  • Strong team collaboration abilities.
