Job Summary:

This position entails instructing Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sports education, exceptional communication abilities, and a fervor for motivating students to reach their highest potential. Job Responsibilities of a Sports Education Instructor:

As a Sports Education Instructor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality sports lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a passion for physical activity.
  • Design innovative and inclusive lesson plans that accommodate all skill levels.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the sports curriculum and school spirit.

Qualifications of a Sports Education Instructor:

  • Possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, QLTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Have a solid background in sports education and athletics.
  • Exhibit effective classroom management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and a dedication to student development.
  • Be capable of inspiring and motivating students to achieve their personal best.
  • Must have an updated DBS to ensure the safety of learners.
  • Preference will be given to experienced candidates in the relevant field.
