Vision for Education - Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Physical Education Instructor to join our team within a Primary and Secondary Pupil Referral Unit. This role involves working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students on a full-time basis.

As a Physical Education Instructor, you will be part of a supportive team, working with small class sizes that include students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and other behavioral difficulties.

Your responsibilities will include implementing effective behavior management strategies and fostering student engagement in both academic and extracurricular activities, promoting a well-rounded educational experience.

This long-term position offers the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with primary and/or secondary school-aged children
  • Experience supporting students with SEND and behavioral challenges
  • A strong commitment to the development and progress of SEND students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
