Job Title: Physical Education Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Physical Education Instructor to join our team at a reputable school in South Shields. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of various abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that meet the school's curriculum standards
  • Adapt teaching style to meet the needs of students with additional educational needs (AEN) or special educational needs (SEN)
  • Maintain accurate student progress records
  • Contribute to raising standards of student achievement
  • Provide opportunities for personal and academic growth, including managing student behavior and reporting any issues to senior staff
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Passionate about supporting children with various abilities in a positive educational environment
  • Problem-solving skills and commitment to safeguarding young people
