About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team at Solo Support Services. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to an individual with complex needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to the individual, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and medical needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of the individual's unique requirements, including communication methods and health needs.
- Work collaboratively with the individual's existing support team to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in regular meetings, shadowing, and training to ensure you are equipped to meet the individual's needs.
Requirements
- Be a calm, friendly, and flexible individual who is unphased by complex needs and situations.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be willing to undergo training and development to ensure you are equipped to meet the individual's needs.
