Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the greater North East region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead sales functions on high-value projects and client relationship development to meet financial goals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to potential clients on our strengthening solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Engineering, Pre-construction, and Operations teams to develop solutions that tackle the toughest construction challenges.
  • Participate in web-based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls with clients as needed.
  • Follow up, pursue, and communicate information on project and client leads provided by Marketing.
  • Assist with drafts of proposals for strengthening projects and necessary revisions.
  • Assist with assembly of bid packages for strengthening projects as necessary or requested.
  • Attend jobsite walks and pre-bid meetings as needed.
  • Participate in project review calls and maintain up-to-date CRM listings for strengthening projects.
  • Update the existing company contact databases with new contacts obtained from presentations, meetings, conferences, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the commercial market.
  • Strong knowledge of the Boston market, including engineering firms, property management firms, building owners, general contractors, architects, etc.
  • Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas utilizing a CRM system.
  • Strong understanding of process required to promote and implement engineered services and products.
  • Capable of learning and sharing information on engineered products, their functions, applicability, and standards along with understanding of proposal development.
  • Travel 50% of the time.
