About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Arnfield Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs. You will also lead, supervise, and support junior staff members in providing round-the-clock care and support that meets our high standards.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
  • Leading and supervising junior staff members
  • Providing high-quality care and support to residents
  • Liaising with senior management and external parties to advocate for residents' welfare
  • Maintaining confidentiality and promoting an inclusive organisational culture

Essential Skills
  • Previous experience working in children's residential care settings
  • Demonstrable experience leading shifts/teams
  • Senior roles require level 3/4 in residential Childcare (or equivalents)
  • Ability to commit to full-time working, including sleep-ins and short residential trips
  • Manual driving license
