About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Arnfield Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young people in our care, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Lead and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent care and support.
  • Collaborate with our management team to ensure policies and procedures are followed, and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Cover various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, to provide 24/7 care and support.
  • Liaise with external parties, such as Local Authorities and schools, to advocate for and promote the welfare of our residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in children's residential care settings (or similar).
  • Demonstrable experience leading shifts/teams.
  • Senior roles require level 3/4 in residential Childcare (or equivalents).
  • Ability to commit to full-time working, including sleep-ins and short residential trips.
  • Manual driving license required.
