Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of regulatory compliance for Health, Safety, and Environmental across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Manage day-to-day safety operations, including conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001, 14001, and OHSAS18001 standards.
  • Lead the adoption of best practices in health and safety standards and initiatives, and develop, record, and report on H&S KPIs.
  • Investigate accidents and lead post-incident analysis and improvements, and coordinate responses to non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver comprehensive health and safety training across all levels of staff, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure constructive relationships and compliance.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Qualification to HnD Level, and experience working in a heavy industrial plant environment.
  • Strong influencer with a range of stakeholders, with the ability to communicate strategic plans and projects.
  • Knowledge of COSHH, and experience gained in the Food or Agricultural industry.
  • Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems, and escalate issues in a fast-paced environment.
