Head Receptionist Job Description

Gaucho is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the reception area, and ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area, including greeting guests, handling phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize restaurant capacity and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of service.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including guest databases and section allocation.
  • Manage staffing levels, including costed rotas, holiday management, and productivity management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Head/Senior Receptionist in a high-end environment.
  • Enthusiasm for hospitality and a fast-paced working environment.
  • A warm and hospitable personality.
  • Strong leadership skills.
