Property and Facilities Streetworks Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streetworks Supervisor to join our team in the Brighton postcode area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Technical Services Manager in the provision of a specific facilities service to the Street Furniture & Assets product.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of engineers to ensure that all contractual obligations, internal targets, and customer standards are met and exceeded.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and provide guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
- Be the first point of contact for engineers in resolving technical and process issues, providing logistical support and coordinating resource as needed.
- Work independently, but within a framework, to coordinate the efforts of Street Furniture based engineers and contractors, ensuring best practice is shared and implemented.
- Liaise and coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with NRWS Legislation and provide traffic management support and plans as required.
- Apply knowledge in a range of technical situations, making personal judgments on how to achieve best quality, cost, and time objectives.
- Undertake normal work duties of an Assets Engineer within your geographic area, with your area and workloads assessed to allow time for supervising effectively.
- You will have knowledge of and be trained as a SWQR "Street Works Supervisor", as defined and in compliance with, The "Street Works Act".
- You will have comprehensive technical knowledge of the Street Furniture & Assets product and processes.
- You will be computer literate, particularly in Excel and Outlook email.
- You will have good communication skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team.
- You will be able to understand and provide high levels of customer service and build relationships.
- You will have good commercial and business awareness and be innovative.
- You will hold a full manual UK driving license.
