Job Title: Retail Team Lead

Join Henderson Group as a Retail Team Lead and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As a Retail Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff to provide a shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Store Manager to achieve store goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders
  • Be a positive role model to the team and represent the company's values
  • Train, manage, and support the team to achieve the right resources in the right place at the right time
  • Support the Store Manager to maximize store performance
  • Actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous store retail experience, with at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team of people in a customer-focused environment
  • A natural ability to listen, interact, and communicate with customers and team members
  • Target-driven to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities
  • Ability to inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer
