Key Responsibilities:

  • To promote the nursery's vision and objectives, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained at all times.
  • Oversee the quality of childcare provided, ensuring it meets the needs of children, parents, and staff.
  • Undertake time in the nursery rooms as a role model, demonstrating best practices and inspiring staff to do the same.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring education environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification or above in Early Years.
  • Significant experience of leading in a nursery setting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum of a Level 2 Qualification in Maths and English.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing change and improvement in a nursery setting.
  • Significant nursery experience of managing a team of staff in a nursery setting.
  • Detailed knowledge of safeguarding children, procedures, and promotion of children's welfare.
  • First aid trained or willing to become so.
