Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of our stock levels and locations.
- Stock Receipt and Management: Collaborate with the Goods-In Controllers to ensure the efficient receipt and processing of stock into the centre.
- Warehouse Operations: Support the accurate movement of stock throughout the warehouse, ensuring that all stock is properly stored, retrieved, and dispatched.
- Warehouse Management Systems: Effectively utilize our Warehouse Management Systems to optimize stock management and warehouse operations.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure adherence to HMRC and CAA processes for bonded stock, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Metrics: Deliver internal stock control KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to inform business decisions.
- MHE Operations: Operate and check a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Process Development and Implementation: Contribute to the development, implementation, and execution of standard operating procedures, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
- Training and Development: Support the coaching and development of operational colleagues, promoting a customer-focused and safety-conscious work environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in stock and inventory management in a logistics or distribution environment, with a strong understanding of audit and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Skills: Effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field.
