Job Summary:

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their team in a permanent role. As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be responsible for producing sustainability strategies and BREEAM assessments from early stages of a project to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.
  • Conduct building performance modelling and operational energy analysis using IES-VE software.
  • Produce circular economy and whole life carbon assessments using OneClick LCA software.
  • Mentor junior team members and develop energy strategies with clients to increase sustainability innovation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in environmental science or sustainability field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a sustainability consultancy role within the construction industry.
  • Experience delivering BREEAM and WELL assessments with a BREEAM AP qualification.
  • Experience in carrying out Whole Life Carbon Assessments using OneClick LCA software.
  • Experience with IES software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
