Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Physiotherapy team as a Band 7 specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in managing patients with complex MSK pain and dysfunction, including post-operative rehabilitation.

The post holder will support the team leader in service delivery, assisting in the development and integration of MSK patient management across the service. This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with specialist MSK skills and knowledge to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Manage patients referred to the Physiotherapy Department for initial contact, assessment, clinical diagnosis, and management.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of patients with complex MSK conditions.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality patient care.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and students, promoting a supportive and learning environment.

The successful candidate will have a Postgraduate Masters level degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and recent postgraduate courses relevant to the field. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist in an Outpatient Musculoskeletal setting, with a strong track record of patient management and team leadership.
