Exciting Opportunity at Halfords Group

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Halfords Group. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the B2B Team by providing effective business partnering and financial reporting to drive decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the B2B Leadership team in delivering the B2B strategy by analyzing market trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary for decision making, including budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in controlling costs and driving operational efficiencies by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives by evaluating investments and business opportunities using financial modeling.
  • Present financial information and analysis to the B2B Senior Leadership Team, including monthly performance reports.
  • Occasionally deputize for the Head of Finance - B2B by taking on additional responsibilities and providing support to the team.

Requirements:

  • Dynamic and results-driven with a high level of energy and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to analyze data and inform decision making by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in reporting and analysis, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI, with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with business partnering experience and a strong understanding of financial operations.
