Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning and Performance Management: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Nutrition and Dietetics department, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based service to patients.
  2. Clinical Expertise: Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on all aspects of nutrition, particularly in the area of neuro adult dietetics.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of dietitians, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service.
  4. Research and Audit: Develop and implement a research and audit portfolio, ensuring the department remains at the forefront of nutrition and dietetics research and practice.
  5. Operational Management: Provide day-to-day operational management of the Nutrition and Dietetics department, ensuring the smooth delivery of services.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in a clinical leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
