Job Opportunity

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Derry, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in empowering the people who will power the future.

Responsibilities
  • Assembly of Electrical Switchgear and associated Electromechanical equipment / systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained for the products both in the factory and at customers premises.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Contribute to fitting, building or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation.
  • Assemble prototype and development units with Supervisors and managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • C&G Electrical Qualification & an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.
  • Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
  • Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
  • Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statements.
  • Current 18th Edition certification.
